Junie has a clear picture of what it takes to put patients first. As an X-ray technologist, Junie does mammography tests and diagnostic X-rays. But no matter what type of image she’s taking, Junie takes the time to make sure every patient in her care is relaxed and aware of what she’s doing, every step of the way.

“I’m always taking care of the patient first. Once the patient is okay, then I can move on to whatever is next,” says Junie. “I’m part of their support system. I’m there when they get good news and bad. My goal is to develop a relationship with each patient and give them my complete attention—and lots of compassion.”
